scarborough tour! not me, obviously
So not entirely unexpectedly (whilst typing away in paroxyms of sleep-deprived joy at having a reason to poke through the BBFC archives for old case studies to bore folk to death with) I completely forgot to remind everybody about Friday and more specifically the Tour! Pillock.
I will be available on Friday, but when I am will be gauged on demand – in a nutshell: if it’s not looking fairly steady and solid by around midday, I’ll be sacking it off to watch the cycling, the phone will be off and I won’t be back. Either way the whole town will be in chaos (and some might remember my trek through Leeds and York last year when it was on, I certainly do) the train station worse and the car parks not far behind it.
Please take this into account if you were planning to travel to Scarborough, and if so I recommend you call and arrange first thing to be on the safe side – route info is here for anybody who really hadn’t noticed.
