off again!
And after a far more comfortable week than last due mainly to my newly cold-free status, my big Ireland trip of the year is in the offing and I will be setting off shortly – woohoo!
The hour lost last Sunday has been gradually readjusted to and I bobbled along to Zumba in daylight for the first time in as long as I can remember, although the sunshine made no inroads into the biting cold and my ever present woolly hat is looking likely to be a fixture for a good few weeks yet. I distinctly remember bowling up to Edinburgh’s Filmhouse for Dead By Dawn this time last year in a sundress and cardi, having left my leather jacket at the Travellodge as surplus to weather-related demands, but it would seem that this was something of a one off and the jumpers are resolutely packed.
All the necessary dates and details for readers in the RoI are overleaf, the bags are in the hall and I will be briefly back in Scarborough on the 22nd for a few days prior to this years DBD shenanigans – the weekend will be set aside for recovery and proper food intake, but the start of the week will be as usual until I head back to Edinburgh on Thursday 25th for the usual non-stop screen carnage, muitas Nando’s and the unavoidable backache which accompanies any attempt to spend 60%+ of four consecutive days sitting in a cinema seat.
Meanwhile, Dublin Airport, Tallaght, Portlaoise, Limerick and Cork await! Update soon…
