taking the high road…
And I’m currently on my way, no thanks to the stricken 0630 service from Scarborough to York and the completely predictable (apart from when there is >20 minutes to make the connecting service) points failure, and the resultant hanging around at York to catch the next one. Fortunately, my 5am start allowed me ample time to make a packed lunch, which unfortunately is likely to be history by around 11am.
This does mean that today’s Inverness kick off will be somewhat delayed – sorry! Anybody who has got as far as reading the blog has more than likely read everything else too and thus should not need to be told, admittedly, but for the sake of complete transparency, I will not be able to answer telephone calls now until around 3.30-3.45pm and the correct way to book, as ever, is to EMAIL. I’m posting from my BlackBerry as we speak, it is working fine, and we can sort out all arrangements efficiently and in good time.
Proper update after corned beef sandwiches, rice krispie bars and a previously unscheduled stop at Perth…
